Lectoure on the mapGetting here is an easy journey by air, rail or car. International flights from all over the world land at Toulouse, Bordeaux, Pau or Carcassonne airports which are between one or two and a half hours drive from the gite. Guests travelling from the UK or Ireland can click here to see which airlines fly into France from their countries. There are also plenty of internal flights from the main airports in Paris.

Driving through France can be an absolute pleasure with the wide well laid out roads delightfully free from traffic and stress. Picnic areas or aires are conveniently and frequently situated along the roads whether you decide to take a fast toll road, or drive along a picturesque route nationale.  Bringing your car to France can be rewarding as not only will you arrive in your own transport ready to explore this wonderful region, but you'll be able to take home a case of your favourite wine, perhaps a little Armagnac, or some of the delicious regional specialties.

The high speed train (TGV) can whisk you from Paris to Agen station which is only 30 kilometers from the gite. Why not pause for lunch at the station restaurant in Agen, just as Rick Stein did during his French Odyssey adventure– thoroughly recommended!
